CANDLE & INCENSE CARE

You, as a customer, acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review these policies periodically and stay informed with any update and changes to our policies. These terms and conditions govern your use of the Amaryllis Park’s online retail and wholesale store. By placing an online order, you agree to and are bound by our Shipping Policy.

 

Amaryllis Park and its affiliated brands reserve the right to implement a 20% restocking fee to any order to cover any associated materials or labor.  Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. All merchandise must be returned unopened, unused, and in its original packaging BEFORE any action is taken by Amaryllis Park.

CANDLE SAFETY

Prepare the wick before lighting. Trim wick to 1/8”- 3/16” before lighting. Trimming keeps the wicks upright and minimizes bending into the melted wax. Always burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface; use a candleholder, vessel, or materials specifically designed for the heat of candle use. When burning a pillar or molded candle (no outer vessel), use a holder designed for pillar style candles and surface protection.

  • Always burn candle(s) within sight.

  • Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air currents. Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room

  • Keep candles or any lit products out of reach of children, pets, or any one incapacitated.

  • Never touch or move a lit candle. Candles are hot when lit and can cause serious burns if touched or moved. 

  • Do not touch or move until completely cooled.

  • Keep wax pool free of debris.

  • Do not burn your candle for more than four (4) hours at a time.

  • Do not burn a candle all the way down (leave 2” for pillars or ½” for containers). Consider using a wax tart melter for the excess scented wax.  Be sure to follow the wax melter's manufacturer's instructions. 

  • Never extinguish candles with water - oil and water DON’T mix! It has been recommended to employ a snuffer to extinguish a candle.

  • Extinguish a candle if it repeatedly smokes or the flame becomes too high.

  • Be very careful if using candles during a power outage

  • Never use a candle as a night light

  • Vessel is for decorative use only; not food or drink safe.

  • The seller, reseller, NOR the manufacturer is responsible for consumer negligence or misuse.

INCENSE SAFETY

Place your incense on/in burner according to the manufacturer's instructions. Light the very tip with either a lighter or match and allow it to burn. Once it smolders, gently extinguish the flame by blowing or fanning. Your cone should glow red and give off a delicate wisp of pale fragrant smoke indicating that it is slowly burning or smoldering 

 

  • To prevent fire or injury, remove any packaging before use.

  • Only use accessories that are approved safe for incense burning and storage. 

  • Always burn incense on a stable, heat-resistant surface; use a incense burners or materials specifically designed for the heat of incense use.

  • Always burn incense within sight.

  • Never burn incense on or near anything that can catch fire. 

  • Keep burning incense away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air currents. 

  • Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room

  • Keep incense or any lit products out of reach of children, pets, or any one incapacitated.

  • Never touch or move a lit incense. 

  • Incense are hot when lit and can cause serious burns if touched or moved. 

  • Do not touch or move until completely cooled.
