Safety First: Your Candle Care Essentials

Your luxury coco-apricot wax candle is designed for a beautiful, clean burn, but safe use is essential. Please follow these non-negotiable rules to prevent fire and injury.

• Wick Prep: Always trim the wick to 1/8" – 3/16" before lighting to maintain an upright position and minimize bending into the melted wax.
• Burn Surface: Always burn the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and use appropriate candleholders or vessels.
• Keep Clear: Never burn on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, children, pets, and anyone incapacitated.
• Watch It: Always burn candles within sight.
• No Touching: Never touch or move a lit candle. Candles are hot and can cause serious burns. Do not touch or move until completely cooled.
• Time Limit: Do not burn your candle for more than four (4) hours at a time.
• Stop Point: Do not burn a container candle all the way down. Leave 1/2" of wax in the vessel. Consider using a wax tart melter for the excess scented wax.
• Extinguishing: Never extinguish candles with water—oil and water do not mix. It is recommended to employ a snuffer to extinguish a candle.
• Debris: Keep the wax pool free of debris.
• Vessel Use: The vessel is for decorative use only; it is not food or drink safe.

Extinguish a candle if it repeatedly smokes or the flame becomes too high. The seller, reseller, nor the manufacturer is responsible for consumer negligence or misuse.
