For our Pre-Made Seals, each impression is hand-poured in our Sarasota studio, resulting in an organic, flowing edge that extends approximately 0.125" beyond these base dimensions for an authentic, weighted look.

Applying a wax seal is the final, intentional touch on your correspondence. To ensure a bond as lasting as your message, we recommend the following steps:

• Preparation: Ensure your envelope or cardstock is clean and free of oils or dust for the strongest artisanal bond.
• The Reveal: Gently peel the clear adhesive backing away. Avoid touching the sticky surface with your fingers to maintain the integrity of the seal.
• Placement & Connection: Position your seal and press firmly from the center outward for five seconds. This ensures a full, secure connection to your stationery.

The Professional Secret
To preserve the intricate 3D detail and the organic natural border of your seal, we recommend the Double-Envelope Method. Place your sealed note inside a slightly larger outer envelope to shield it from automated postal rollers.

Preserving Your Seals

• Temperature Control: Wax is a natural medium. Store your seals in a cool, dry place. High temperatures can soften the wax and compromise the adhesive integrity.
• Storage: It is best to keep your seals in their original muslin bag or an airtight container to prevent dust from settling on the adhesive.
• Luster: To restore the shine of a seal, simply wipe it gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
